First Outlook on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (April 2014)

In April 2014 the Ubuntu long term support release 14.04 will be released. In this short video we have a first look at the outcoming version and we explore what we can expect from the new release.

The main focus of Canonical for Ubuntu 14.04 are: 1. Stability and 2. Conversion i.e. making Ubuntu ready for the tablets.

The challenge all companies are focusing on is: To have one single operating system across all kinds of devices (desktop, tablets and mobile phones).

What can you expect from Ubuntu 14.04: 1. a slick and very polished operating system that is stable 2. solved privacy issues 3. better web integration and 4. more software to be available.
